After the overwhelming success of The British Family Fayre in 2013 we are now pleased to announce the dates for 2014.
Date: 30th August 2014 – Gates open at 11am until 6pm
The British Family Fayre is a a fun and educational day out for all the family. Featuring some of Britain’s best known brands, fantastic food and a main stage filled to the brim with music, dance and comedy. The ethos of the event is to support British manufacturing and farming and spread the message that the UK still makes some some great stuff.
What is also great about the BFF is that it is FREE ENTRY ALL DAY!!!!
The event is walking distance from Westerham High Street, but if you would like to drive a third party will be organising on-site car parking at £5 per car. This fee is purely to cover the traffic marshals on the day. Alternatively, you can also use public transport.
If you were not one of the 4,000 people who attended last years event you will have likely heard about it though the coverage on BBC Breakfast (video clip), The Times, The Telegraph, the Mail on Sunday or The Manufacturer. The echoes of this unique celebration of British manufacturing, set in a idyllic Kent town, were certainly heard across the nation.
The British Family Fayre is the vision of Westerham residents the Bradshaw family, who have captured the country’s imagination with their campaigning to raise the awareness of British production. The Bradshaws and Lincoln West are organising this charity fund raising event for fun and in their own free time. This normal British family and Lincoln West invite you to join them in a good old fashioned knees-up… for a 2nd time!
